yeah >_>
its probably a wallpaper he got off a copyrighted site.. since he doesnt bother to think of the images he uses as stock. Even though there is someone out there who origionally drew the image not getting any credit what so ever. It would be different if it were a stock photo since the origional artist put it there for people to use... its very unlikely the artist put that image up so people could use it in there signatures or better yet a commercial design like a CD...
you should probably start citing your images Nightfire >_> this is considered ripping if you do not have permission from the artist to use this image in a CD design... personal or commercial.
EDIT: made it a little nicer for you :3
To suggest that I have taken this from a wallpaper or anything else of the sort is just an bais opinion and then judging upon that. This is why before saying what an artisit has and has not done in consideration to a rip needs to be supported.Quote:

The only thing ripped here is the DVD logo and Digital Dolby.
Also you should know I almost despise people who use whole stocks. If anything I just use render. I am annoyed by the idea of taking a whole image that isn't yours and making something out of it. It's just like slapping your work over theirs. I believe that the bacground to any image should be your own. The main characteristic though teaches you how to cut out and blend when the time arises you have to do a project for someone else. Though for the time being unless stated by the owner yes it would be considered a rip.
