Dude you obviously don't have a view on art...

It's not how they made the image, it's how the product looks, how you display the image, and what message it gives off.

That's how I view other people's work. Simplicity isn't complex, so don't make it complex.

You can't truely rate someone unless you view their product, not the effort they put into it. Metal has some very nice sigs that are simplistic, but he displays the image extremely well.

Again, it's not the content, it's the product.

anyways to stay on topic I think that signature is very nice, except I don&#39;t like where the logo is placed

adrenal!ne, i wasn&#39;t trying to make anybody mad :D thats why i said that i wasn&#39;t trying to come off as harsh. dont take what i say the wrong way, most of the time, im just blunt and people think im ripping on their stuff, which is not the intention. let me put it a different way then, again, dont take this the wrong way ;) if i found a simple stock photo that was amazing; it was just mind-blowing. if i drew a small line on it and put my name on it (not suggesting you did this, this is hypothetical) would you consider it great just because the final product is good (which was due to the photo)? it could be just me, but i wouldn&#39;t. you referred to the message of art. in this signature, you clung to the word "climb" and ran with it. when i say this, its just because its the only way to put it. theres no deep message in this, its just playing on the word "climb". Metal does have some decent signatures that are simplistic, but they have style. when i mentioned style before, all i was saying is that this is still basically the stock photo so it doesn&#39;t have any style to it. add your own style to it (which you can do keeping it simplistic). and i do know what simplistic is hehe its my favorite style. im assuming that in the last part "it&#39;s not the content, it&#39;s the product" you meant that its not the process, its the product? because the content is in the product. hey, no hard feelings? i wasn&#39;t trying to seem rude, just explaining my thoughts and what you could do :)

i got to agree with Jack. And for once someone give what i consider good C&C everybody gets mad. Jack always try to give good advice, now we all have the right to disagree but he always try to turn it the nice way, just not the "wow i like it" or "no i&#39;m not feeling that one" or "i dont like text" typical C&C. He says what he likes and give his oppinion on how it could be different. Whats wrong with this? I know he is perfectionist (from what i could read) but there is always something interesting in his point of view.

Now your sig is not bad (and i dont think he said it was bad) but as far as i&#39;m concern the motion blur does&#39;nt really add to the image (and its not logical). Imo, when using a stock image you need at least to try to make somekind of a page layout. So overall its ok but still get the feeling it could be better (and always stay simple). Now you could take those advice and try to use them next time or just forget about them, or you could always say i dont know anything about it, and it&#39;s fine with me. ;)

Jack, you give excellent CnC.... just look at it sigs in other ways, not just one.
