around the times of the colonists, industrial age,fortress age, imperial age.. forget the others
So most of the weaponry is guns?
yea, but there are bowmen, pikemen, calvary, etc.
What i like too is that some of them have bayonettes, and others have swords to fight with when they come into close quarter fighting.
also i've come across some stray pirates that hand dual pistols -- they were easy to kill, but fun to watch
there are also different tactics too, like volley and hand to hand combat for infantry, and other options for artillery.
i can't wait for it to come out...me and mates at uni play AOE2 over the network at college a fair bit and that game ia awsome multiplayer. Do you rekon you need a really good graphics drive to run it? compare the graphics in AOE3 to the ones in Age of Mythology...is it any different? cause my computer may struggle if the graphics are too good but my computer handles AOM!
the graphics requirement is:
64 MB video card with support for hardware transformation and lighting required
i would say get a new one if yours isn't a 128 MINIMUM. 64 just doesn't cut it these days..
and yes these graphics are better than any other RTS preceding it, including age of mythology
