I don't have any hard-hitting facts for or against Bush. I just wanted to say something on Octane's reply:
That, I think, is rather impossible - comparing Bush to one of us. How could you compare (for example: me) a 14 year old guy to a US president? That's kinda ridiculous imo.. :rolleyes:Quote:
Are you capable of even doing a decent job for the US?
I think Bush could've done a better job on protecting the people in New Orleans..Anyway, enough bullshit from me.
PS: Anyway Silenced should win the debating award. He is really good o.o, and he proves to us by giving us statistics and facts =P
Unlike a few months ago, I now strongly oppose Bush and the war now.
Although, I think he could have treated Katrina better, although people are just looking for someone to blame. And the people to blame is the mayor of New Orleans for not making sure people were evacuated and making sure the levees weren't fixed.
Take the picture off plz, thats just messed up

Yea, if I was living in New Orleans, I would expect that my mayor have a better plan for us if there was a flood or hurricane of some kind (since New Orleans is 6 ft below sea level).

Where's your witty, cute little response to what happened above? Where is your source for the HIGH approval ratings or our President? I've responded to yours, where's yours to mine? Go home.
Perhaps you've heard of Hurricane Pam, no probably not, but I'll explain. Hurricane Pam was a computer generated hurricane that stormed the Gulf Coast in the same manner that Katrina did, this Hurricane was produced by the governers and mayor's of Lousiana, Mississippi and Alabama. It produced much more extreme results, no power, no communication, complete anarchy, tens of thousands dead, flooding, everything. They were prepared, but the support system goes up to the top. It all needs to be verified first., the federal response was too slow, they were all ready, but them getting the supplies and buses for transportation took too long. They had a plan, it was just ignored by those with more power.
And some people chose to ignore the evacuation and ride out the storm, they ignored the warnings, then after the levee's broke, the procedure just too damn long because it has to go all the way up. Do some research man, it's not that hard. Although, yes, it is true, New Orleans is 6 feet below sea level, yet for some reason, the mayor was not notified of the crack in the levee...that was ignored.
Let's try to keep this friendly please.
Silenced takes no prisoners alive!

Screw it, I'm not even gonna post that, it would start another bash-fest and get everyone mad at this...
Actually very mature of you. I don't support the fact that you feel scared stating your opinions, but that in part is probably due to my attitude towards this at the moment. Whatever, I can respect your decision, even if I don't agree with it.Quote:
