Hockey. Purely. I'm good at most sports, though. I was invited out to the volleyball team but it was during hockey season and I didn't drop over $2000 in goalie equipment to play volleyball ;) I think with the right conditioning I could do very well in track, 100m sprint or even a long distance run if I trained enough...right now I have a low lung capcity. I don't smoke or anything, though. I just have small lungs. Oh uh.. other sports, I'm a huge fan of badminton, or badmin for you Americans, and not to brag or anything, but I'm totally awesome at it... I used to always win 2vs1 in P.E. ;) Currently thinking of starting up some weight training and possibly going for walks, then jogs, then runs. Get my body back into the shape it was in like 2 years ago, before I started working at a fast food place and got pudgy (pudgy is like.. 140lbs for me... I'm only 5'7", 130lbs at the moment).
I got a ton of friends in da hockey biz :P
Played football for school last year, didn't play much though because I hadn't played since 8th grade and I was in 11th, I also wasn't in good enough shape. I played WR/CB. I didn't play my Senior year because I decided to do a work-release program so I could earn some money and not have to sit through another 2 hours of school. I do play football with my cousins and all of their friends every Sunday, I've gotten the nickname Speedy and my 40 is 5.0 . Well the whole problem with my 40 time is that I have a horrible start, I just can't burst out like a lot of people can and everyone always tell me I have really good speed I just don't have any acceleration.
My favorite sport to play is basketball, I shoot hoops whenever I get the chance and I just got a workout plan over the internet to better my vertical. I usually only play with my friends. Man I remember when I was little watching Michael Jordan, thats what got me into basketball. I'd practice turn around fade-aways pretending I was Jordan taking the final shot, I still do practice those because it usually wows some people when I'm playing and I love it. Plus fade-aways are really hard to defend.
Another sport I love to play is baseball or softball. I play softball for my church, even though I have recently became athiest, and we usually go undefeated against the other churches.

Dude you are freckin awesome dude. I do the same shit as you exept on lifting i lift about everyday and on skatebording i do it to just do dumb shit.
I currently dont play any sports (with school that is), mainly because I feel sports are boring (and partly because i'm rather busy). I used to play a lot of sports, and I did until Sophmore Year in Higschool.
For some reason, after several years of playing soccer, I just got bored of it and dropped out - havnt played since (and I have no reason to). Now and then I may play some basketball or football with my friends for fun on the weekend.
Time is another issue. Once you get into the highschool level you need to practice literally every day after school. On the weekends, meets take place which last for hours and hours. I have a job, and I usually spend my time after school on various sites keeping them updating - even though it doesnt feel like a job to me, thats my main source of income.
Hey man i agree sports arent the most important thing in the world today. I Started sports because i live in a small town, 1A and has 1500 people living there, and to all my friends I sports were everything. I did not want to seem like a little woss becuase in a small town if you do not play sports you are a geek. I tried out for football and i was on second string but as i practiced more and more i got better. I hated at the beginning of last year all my coaches kept comparing me to my older brother Seth, who was an extremely awesome football player, got first string on the state teem in texas, and i wasnt mature enough to play on a football team or any type of sport. I tried out for cross country and the first year i was 13 and i was running 3 miles very slow. Track I got second but i just settled for what i got nad never tried to get better at it. Then over this summer i made a lot of new friends. Apperantly they liked me more cause before sevenths grade i was a huge geek. everybody used to make fun of me and my best friend, Edgar who is mexican and probably the linebacker in the state of texas in our class division and who kept getting better and i didnt want him to out do me. Then the movie Friday night lights came out and me and him and my dad went to go see it. It really made something inside of me want to beat everybody in our grade and i wanted to double my brothers football stats and play varsity my sophmore year in high school. I trainned so hard after that weekend. i didnt let any stop meQuote:
