I just got the Xbox 360

Guys, the whole "All Xbox 360's crash" is a bunch of bull.

Only 10% of the 360's sold have a minor problem that can be fixed by using your warranty and getting a new one, and I still have yet to see one completely crash.

Also, the XBox 360 will be better than the PS3 in performance,it's a fact, but both systems won't use their full performance capabilites (unless you mod it) so really it's not gonna even matter.

Some 360's do have overheating problems, but that is only if you leave it on for at least 3 hours, and this is a very small amount of them that do have this problem.

Before you guys say something sucks... why don't you at least try it out before drawing conclusions. Otherwise your review/criticism is pretty much useless. I am not being biased against PS3 (like some of you guys are against XBOX) infact, I will probably get the PS3 at some point in time, and yes it does look like a really great system. I just wanted the 360 more, simply because you have a LOT more capabilites with it than the original Xbox, and it's processor is 600x faster than the original.

Remember guys, the media overexagerates just about everything.



BTW: I do have a really nice computer, infact, I just got it, so there is no use getting another.

I did try it out and I did see it crash. Maybe he just got a bad one, but im not taking the chance, ill wait until the xbox 360 is bug free before I get one.

I heard them say on the news that if you didn't reserve one, you can't get it until Feburary because of the high demand, and supposedly, that is the date they think it will be totally bug free, and I still haven't had any bugs with my Xbox, and I'm hoping I will never have bugs with it.

Yes, but still for people that reserved it.
At least that is what my local Gamestop, Best Buy, and news told me.


BTW: Myst and Equal, I wasn't really talking directly to ya'll when I said "Why don't you try it out before you criticize it." That was directed more toward the others that didn't have a somewhat valid reason why they thought it wasn't very good.

No they aren't losing money, they are still gaining money just not as much.

It is basically like they are selling it all to you at a discount off the retail value.


This is the exact same case with the iPod Shuffle. The iPod Shuffle really only costs Mac 25$ to build, but they price it up because of programming, which would turn it out to be around $20, but they sell it at $99 to make a bigger profit, but if instead they decide to sell it at $60 a shuffle, then they would still be making money but not as much.


I guess you could say they are losing money because they aren't getting as much as they could, but that's just pesimistic.

Remember Microsoft can get discounts on parts too....
