Rather, it is someone handing you their art, and using it as your own. They give you permission, yes, but it is still not your work. The whole downloaded brushes fix just blows my mind. Only times I will use one is for lighting tweaks or other minor effects. Yours, however, is the entire piece.

I do partially agree with your post, about it being in the way you use the brushes.. and I suppose the "way you used them" was very complicated. Allow me to demonstrate. I'll go slow so nobody gets left behind.

1) Everybody take your right hand
2) Place firmly on mouse, or take your index finger and place on touchpad, for our friends with laptops
3) Ever so slowly move your pointer (the white arrow on the screen) toward the brushes pallete
*slight pause for our slow learners*
Thanks again for joining us, let's get back to the lesson.
4) Once you have selected your brushes, choose a color from the color window
5) (This is perhaps the most difficult step of all) Click as needed on your document until you have an original-looking piece of art
6) Add color layer, hue saturation layer, or color balance layer if you feel daring
7) Apply shitty text and border for extra points.

First of all, you have absolutely NO right to call your sigs better than someone else's. This is a battle, in which people come in and judge your sigs and choose whose should win. It is their opinion that matters here, not yours. Also, sideline, last time I checked you were losing.

This also ironically coming from the same person whose sigs are really not his work, but rather the work of the brush creator. Well that was a fancy way of backing out of the battle. I'm not even going to touch your hypocrisies, I'm sure everyone recognizes them already. I'd just like to ask why my vote was a hate vote, when i gave ample reasons for my vote? Nice try on that one. Always have to have an excuse. We can't lose a battle fairly now, no we have to lose because we haven't made a sig in a year, or no we can't lose without the votes being stacked. Just can it.
