If It does hit my area I'm just going to hide in the basement. But on the projected path, the hurricane rips straight through NJ. So Im still kinda scared.

Well about the ground being too soft.. If we (the Dutch) could do it, I'm pretty sure you could too. If a hurricane would hit the houses I live in, they would definitely still stand, the only thing missing would be parts of the roof maybe. And I think rebuilding small parts of the roof would be more cost-efficient then having to build a whole new house.
Just some thoughts lol, not trying to troll on the Americans ^^
We the Dutch can do everything Stuuu :)
From one side i'm hearing it won't be that bad and from the other side I hear it will..
WHAT IS IT???
Since Flemish and Dutch people are pretty much the same, expect for the funny accent, I couldn't agree more.
As for the last part you said it yourself, it could've been worse, so not too bad, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't bad. Their is still a lot of damage.
Queensland get hurricanes every second year or so... and unfortunately they still manage to come back and win the State of Origin. Attachment 512
Well aside form my basement being flooded, everything turned out ok.
That was light. I went out when the eye was over New York. It really wasnt that bad considering it went from a Hurricane to a Tropical Storm.
