Why would data transfer matter?
I don't need to ransfer any data to the new hard drive..just installing windows 2000 and photoshop 7.0 w/imageready....
I don't know WTF u talkin bout dawg...
Because newer forms of it use different kinds of cables and connections. SATA wouldn't work with a piece of crap computer like his.Quote:

jesus man, u can buy comp 10x better than urs for 300$.... just buy maybe a 10gig hd and a few ram sticks. and maybe get xp or atleast 98?
He said he didn't want a new computer already. He is right, it would be best to save up another couple hundred dollars and buy atleast a 700-800 dollar one.
Man computers nowa days are cheap. I would give my old one for free if you live around me lol. My old pc is like 6 years old and it has a amd duron at 600 mghz, with 64 ram and 20 gig hard drive, not shabby for 6 years :).
