Nice tutorial dude! Easy to understand! But I just got one question.. Is it possible to make the background transparent, so that I can use the rain on other files?(like .avi in Vegas video)

I am a noob but it turned out great. When you stand a little ways off from the computer kinda looks like light refraction coming off a lake. Mine looks best on black background. Thank you so much for this tutorial. Very easy to understand this was my first attempt :D

If you want to save it as GIF, go to File>Save Optimimized...
@Hitman: Go to Windows> and click on animation ;)

Like many other people, I can't seem to be able to save the file as a gif. When I click "Save optimized," I only get the option to save it as a jpeg or html file. Is there any way to fix this?

err i just joined this very second to ask one question- how come (i did everything u said) my end result is just the blk background rain frames-i cant c the other images...i cant c my sig basically. All i c are the rain frames over and over again-how do i fix this? -nvm found problem

Some people's that need help, when you goto animation and have just your first frame, make sure only one of the noise layers is visible - the eye thing, then you create a new frame and make a diferent noise layer visible, if you know what i mean.
