#1: the quality needs to be better... the dude is like... blurry or something (just gonna say it could be my eyes they're fuckin me up lately - need new contacts) the red spiral doesnt really fit with the rest of it, especially considering that its quite clear and crisp and really quite... well i dont wanna say futuristic but i havent got a better word for it. against the old fashioned guy with a textured appearance, the spiral doesnt fit. you need some lowlights too, they're all mid-to-high tones in that thing. also get rid of the white opaque circle thingy up in the corner... i NEVER understand why people add those... they look so stupid.... makes everything look washed out, and if you're gonna do it then add a contrast color against the white to balance out the levels... just dont do it to begin with...

i love the position you've got him in and the blending of colors look pretty good together. the textured background against the guy looks great too - good blending of styles you've got there
