Very impressive. Knew I would want to get it when it comes out, now I know I will. As long as I have backward compatibility for my existing software, I reckon I will be getting it.
Yea man, I have had only one problem so far. I had to manually find and install my sound drivers, but for me it was quite easy.
I have been able to install every program I had on Windows XP. So I don't see a reason not to upgrade =)
I heard theres alot of bugs in it athe moment, I'll probably get it once its out though.

Tho it has a few minor bugs to it, they don't really affect anything. It's only the first beta too.
It runs just as good as XP.

it's alright but i can't say it's alot better than xp to me it's a new skin and a few fixes here and there, basically like another update
I agree fully with you deadloader, there isn't much of a difference of Vista and Xp.
I just prefer Vista, the menus, drivers, searches, menu bars, and transitions are just way better then XP. It also allows for better networking capabilities.
As I was saying, you can't regaurd the bugs as part of an evaulation of Vista, simply beacuse it is STILL BETA. And beta 1 to put at.
The bugs, aren't very noticible. There minor bugs, like any other beta software would have.
whats the minimum needs on computer configuration to run it?
512 ram
1 ghz processor
128 mb video card.
Thats it. It may be a better processor but im not sure.
