Game of the year i would nominate Call of duty 2 but the most played was Halo 2.
Game of the year, hmmm thats a tough one. Imo there have been no real GREAT games this year. I expect thats because of the fact that the next gen consoles are just coming out. I expect that the gems will be seen next year.

yah there needs not be any rants about the SUPERB graphics on 'old systems' and magnificently executed gameplay mechanics. there is no need because it just rocks. period.
