I think we should just leave the situation as it is. And also, theres no problem with overcrowding. Youve heard of palm islands in Dubai? Man made island, now imagine if the world set aside billions, and hundreds of thousands of workers to build a continent extending out from US, or Europe.
Also, the problem is gona be fine for the next 75years. Who cares if rules are introduced after we die?

Yeah isnt it called "The World" as it is shaped like the real continents.
lol I love the "who cares when we're dead" apathy :) That's most likely what had been going on with global warming.
Population grows exponentially, there is no leveling off anywhere, at any point in history. Even after the deaths of millions during the world wars, there was still more people than 50 years prior.
It will keep growing until we outgrow food production and resources. Since there is enough food to feed every person (though spread unequally), we haven't outgrown anything yet. So until food production can't keep up with feeding people, we're not in trouble yet. Although living conditions will worsen.

the reason for more people after the world wars: baby boom... was in the 60s and 70s? if im not wrong
we dont have a baby boom right now most people now have 2 kids 3 at the max
so evenutally it will even out because most of the "baby boomers" will be dying off at the same time

The one after WWII was from mids 40s - late 50s, followed by a baby bust. The next baby boom was like 80s to early 90s, followed by a baby bust like now? Probably :)
It's pretty reasonable to suggest that most of us ( not metalskin :)) are the baby boom children of post-war baby boomers. Seeing as how the baby boom most of us were born from is the largest birth rate since post-WWII, it doesn't really bode well for us in the long run.
Our generation is still young, our children could be the next baby boom.

The thing is, people are having more children, and having them younger these days. ;)
