I didn't know ripping was bad, but I did it as a joke. Just because I did it as a joke, doesn't mean that I didn't know it was bad.
I also apologized AFTER I figured out that ripping was bad.

I just dont think it's right to bring this issue back up from 5 months ago.
I don't think its right that he ripped, and same with this sites rules.

my veiw here is octane is talkin one load of bs, yea im with sidra. put it this way. if you ripped some1 5 months ago and you wer a member at a forum you visted everyday of the week. you would do everything in your power to cover it up. i think yes 5 months ago octane did kno rippin was bad. ive known octane for awhile now he used to vist atomik designs. he wasnt a complete noob then and that was before he ripped. and yea if i was in octanes position i would prob do the same. and really if he ripped him 5 months ago "for a joke" why wait 5 months to tell him it was a joke.

Yeah, I kind of agree. In truth the "I didn't know" thing is a pretty stupid excuses. I mean I know 90% of the people on this planet lack common sense but it doesn't take a rocket Scientist to go hey, maybe I shouldn't take that sig with someone elses name on it and change to to have my name(or whatever he put on it). I mean bring it up 5 months later is kind of stupid aswell though.
I mean everyone is standing up for Octane in this matter when he is the one in the wrong. Though I'm not saying we should take him out and stone him since it was a long time ago, but people shouldn't be standing up for him either. A rip is a rip no matter what. The amount of time shouldn't mean to much. I mean something like a ban would be a bit extreme I think but so is bitching at the person that got ripped. Though SK probably didn't bring this up in the best way, and should of probably just let it go because of the time that passed, he shouldn't be the villain IMO.
And really I think what Zeek said has some truth behind it.
Either way it doesn't really effect my opinion of Octane to much because it was sometime ago, nor my opinion of SK because though he didn't bring it up in the best way, he was still the victim in the story. Though it doesn't really seem like it at this point.
I ripped the sig in March, which is 6 months old, and the topic is 5 months old (made in April). I started designing on March 22nd (I know that for a fact because that's when I posted the first thread with my first sig). I didn't know much about that type of stuff in the following 10 days, but I decided to make someone a sig so I made him one (it was blue with an AA guy on it) and then he posted some sigs he wanted it to look like, so as a joke, I got one of them and crossed out the name, put a pistol (M9 from AA) on it, and then put his name on it. If you really knew me at the time, you would have known it was a joke, but I still didn't know ripping was bad at the time.
I didn't figure out that ripping was bad until about April 10 (when El!te told me that it was bad). I know that's the right day because it was my friends b-day and we were at his house, but I was looking for the topic (that i made the ripped sig for) so I could apologize that I ripped and take the sig off, but since there are like 50 new topics a day there, I couldn't find it...
Do you guys understand now? Do you still think I'm lying?
