Then start over and pump out some A class work. I agree so far its ugly and doesn't flow like it should.

I think the problem is the flow. Theres too many sudden stops in the pieces. You shouldn't be able to tell where the breaks are at. Stray from vertical lines those tend to break up the worm (Especially on the ends). Horizontal lines are never bad in a worm. Try to carry the colors used in the previous piece over into the next. Colors should change slowly and not so sudden. Carrying over themes would work better too.

Honestly if you want to make this worm better you probably should start again from scratch.

or just edit and make transition better....
