Yeah, FTL is a distant dream, although they did get electrons to travel FTL not too long ago. Without it the farthest we can planet hop is mars. After that it's too inhospitable. I think it would be awesome to live on mars though, the snowboarding there would be amazing. I read somewhere that there's a 20 year plan for setting up a small colony on mars.Quote:

We could send seeds to any number of other star systems, and most will fail (cause we are still no closer to finding systems with inner planets that are similar to earth).* The odds are just not that good.* But for the extended duration of the human race, currently its the only option.
