I just went through the tutorial. It was fun. So messed around with it a bit.

thats real cool i'll have to try ill post my results
What I do is just after i'm done with a grey one is to go to Filter->Artistic->Neon Glow - Glow Size -1, Glow Brightness 50 and whatever color I want.

I really enjoyed this tutorial, Easy to understand great effect.
Umm I dont know which version of photoshop your using, but Im using cs2 and when I click ocean ripple a new screen comes up with the setting to choose but there is no boxes to enter the number 9 :(
Drag the slider all of the way along then, Adobe :)
