I'm not too suprised that metal is such a high number, because there's sooo many things that are called metal today. People still call metallica metal, and the argue it by saying that metallica was metal first. If that's true then, wouldn't the beatles be considered mainstream rock? Anyhow, metal encompases so much music these days that you really have to be more specific.
