The game I have played most, over the years, has been Age of Empires 2. It's endless fun, tons of ways to customize it with map editor and such, and a different game every time, online or not. For the hardware required : Enjoyability of the game ratio, it definitely takes the cake for me. Another one of my favorites is Battlefield 1942. Graphics aren't that great compared to other games at the time, but BF42 really was a new concept, having almost every aspect of war games into one game. It's a FPS, flight sim, tank sim, naval sim.. ok that's going a little far, lol, but still, with the addition of mods, Battlefield 1942 is one of the best games I've ever played.
I have tons of them.
Half Life 2 is one of them.
Well I don't play too much games, and I don't play these super über good looking games. Just simple ones.

Mine are DDR Extreme and FF X and X-2. I used to be an advid Sims player, but my mom got rid of all my disc and now I just don't care for it much.
Mani really need to play a FF game... what's the newest one? Or should i get an older one first to get into it?
Tribes and Tribes 2. These games were both extremely ahead of their time. It's said that if Half-Life hadn't been released the same year as Tribes it would have taken game of the year. Once you first experience the amount of teamwork and skill this game requires everything else seems just a little bland. Nothing, not even CS:S or HL2 has captivated me like those games.

Favorite game of all time would either have to be Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Legends of Zelda: Majora's Mask, or Half-Life (and its 2 mods, Blue Shift and Opposing Force). Honestly I cannot choose between these three (actually, if I HAD to choose, it would be Mario RPG).
My recent favorite game is HL2. Such a fun game.
