400th POST WOOT WOOOT -
This thread is way too complicated for my participation, but I believe all this religion stuff is a system of control....
Kept it short and sweet Ryzee, good point too.
Krazee brings up an interesting point as well, but unfortunately its a generalization. I dont believe all muslims are as fanatical as the Taliban.
Interesting point Ryzee.
I think that most religions (not all, but most) start out as a genuine beleif system, not to control but to express a faith. However power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutly. To see this you just have to study the interaction of Politics and the Caltholic Church over the last 1800 years or so (not the last 100 years).
Same has happened with all religions to a greater or lessor extent.
One thing though, a lot of leaders use religion to control the people, to keep them in line. Nothing is better than saying, if your against your leader than your against your god. In egypt, the Pharoah was god, in England the King/Queen is the head of the Church of England, in a few of the Islamic coutries the Islamic law and enforcers have more weight and power than the earthly leaders.
Some of the dictators in South Africa use religion, the KKK used religion (albiet twisted). Almost every dictator will use whatever weapon they can to lay claim to the dictatorship that they have, and if they can use religion, they often do.
i imagine some religions have been started as a means of control, but generaly most of the current ones I dont think have been. However that doesn't stop humans from using the religion to control people or justify what they do. Look at Beruit or Serbia/Croatia... look at parts of Malasia or the Phillipines, parts of Africa.
I didnt say that they were. I have Muslim friends who can accept the differences between the religion however Ellusionist as a muslim, do you think what the Taliban and terrorists of the Islamic faith is logical? Wheres the logic in blowing up people in the name of Allah?Quote:

when did i say that what they did was right ... i never said that !! :D
but we were talking bout out diff in religions !
the main topic was that jesus is not the Son of God .. and God cant have a Son thats in Islam and judaism ..
so dont change the Subject :D
And obviously you have the wrong God because God has a Son called Jesus. Your God and my God are different as I have said before and you dont know Jesus therefore u cant say that God has no son when you dont know God. Therefore u lost that debate man - And dont bring up logic again cause all that you say is illogical
if a prefect thing or a unique thing have a Son then its not unique anymore !! :D
Allah is the name of the true One God in the Arabic language. In the Hebrew language His name is Eloh, Elohim for respect. It is well known that when a word is borrowed from one language to another it’s spelling and pronunciation is often altered. It is, therefore, reasonable to say that Eloh and Allah are names of the same Deity of Abraham believed by the three monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Islam is the most rigorously monotheistic religion among the three dedicated to the worship of Allah, never seen by a human eye.
Actually the subject was do you or do you not believe in God? :DQuote:

Subjects change all the time, this one has now evolved into religious fanaticism. I think Krazee brought up a good point about killing in the name of Allah, however Christians and Catholics did it for years centuries ago themselves. So... if you're going to ask Ellusionist to explain whether or not its logical then you'll have to answer the same question yourself.
Thats what i wanted to say too ... !? any Answer KRAZEE ?Quote:
