I'm just waiting for some christian to quote the verse that talks about everyone knows right from wrong as the law is written on their hearts, and based on this they are judged.
But i've always had a problem with this, because your moral compass is a product of your environment, your upbringing, peer group influence, TV, music and choices you make during your life. Different groups of people have entirely different moral compasses, there is no 'standard'.
Personaly I listen to all the voices in my head, most of em are aliens, but ocassionaly i hear from some Pharoah's.

I never said those weren't good questions. But they are meaningless questions with no definitive answers. Religion seeks to answer those age old questions, but their answers are fabricated...not deffinitive.

u think the answers are no difinitive but in our Religion (Islam) we do think they r :D
like i said there is ppl (Scholars, Scientists, etc.) that studies these things there hole life .. so i dont think a person lol from GFX wonderland can argue or say that they dont have a difinitive answer... becuase they have more knowledge than GFX wonderland ppl lol :D
P.S: go argue with a scientist or a scholar that are in religion .. lol :D like what happened to the "President of the Athiests in USA" in the CNN LARRY KING LIVE SHOW she got CRUSHED SON by the religion scholars (Christians, Judi, Islam) lol Mowahhahaah .. couldn't say shit!
ahhh yes, obviously charisma, people skills and ability to debate proves that someone is right. sorry mate, but something that happened on the larry king show aint going to hold any weight with me, because that show is designed to create entertainment. they dont care about an impartial debate properly moderated, all they care about is ratings.
There is a time and place for everything, and tv, who's god is money, just isn't one.

I don't make any claim to have deffinitive answers. But you do. As does your religion. Arguing religion with a religious zealot is less effective than yelling at a brick wall to move. You hold your answers to be more true than anothers. Ignorance and arrogance. They plague every organized religion. You all follow your own sects, without ever seeing that all of you're religions are connected. You bicker about little differences, while the bigger picture is ignored. You've followed the teacher, not the teachings.
I haven't seen the CNN interview that you mention, but I doubt I'd be interested in it. A) Atheism doesn't exactly have a strong figurehead, an organization of atheists kind of goes against the entire point. B ) Nothing can top fanatiscism on television, whoever yells the loudest wins as shown by MANY mistakes made in modern media. On MSNBC, during a debate a women quoted a survey saying that "children of same-sex couples are 85% more likely to be sexually abused." At which point the interviewer agreed with her and ended the debate. Later it was revealed that the "survey" was entirely fabricated.

I try and teach my kids the esense of that quote above.
Also I take umbrage to the comment by Illusionist that I am not someone who can have thoughts about matters concerning the extistance of god and which religion is true. I'm one of the oldest here and very experianced in matters concerning life. I know the christian religion speaks of respecting one's elders, wonder if your one does too?
if it does, you had better learn to be more humble and show more respect.
