Well there was actually, after Jesus had gone back to Heaven, there was Pentecost. Pentecost is where God sent the Holy Spirit to be upon the people of the Jerusalem after Jesus had returned to be with God in Heaven.
2 Of the 3 trinity had been revealed to man, So why is it so unbelievable?
References in the Bible to a Trinity of divine beings are vague, at best.
In Matthew 28:19, we find Jesus telling his disciples to go out and preach to all nations. While this "Great Commission" does make mention of the three persons who later become components of the Trinity, the phrase "...baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" is quite clearly an addition to Biblical text – that is, not the actual words of Jesus – as can be seen by two factors:
1) baptism in the early Church, as discussed by Paul in his letters, was done only in the name of Jesus; and
2) the "Great Commission" was found in the first gospel written, that of Mark, bears no mention of Father, Son and/or Holy Ghost – see Mark 16:15.
The only other reference in the Bible to a Trinity can be found in the Epistle of 1 John 5:7. Biblical scholars of today, however, have admitted that the phrase "... there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one" is definitely a "later addition" to Biblical text, and it is not found in any of today's versions of the Bible.
It can, therefore, be seen that the concept of a Trinity of divine beings was not an idea put forth by Jesus or any other prophet of God. This doctrine, now subscribed to by Christians all over the world, is entirely man-made in origin.

The very concept of religion was pretty much just invented by cave men to explain things they couldn't understand: how the sun rose and fell, how the wind worked, the different seasons, etc. That is the only reason why people even consider that there's this "god" or "higher-power" out there today. Still today though, people are doing the exact same thing. They're saying that there's some god out there, and that that explains how the universe was created, what happens after we die, etc. In a few hundred or thousand years, will the human race understand how the universe was created and what happens to us after death? Probably. Will there be religion then too? Probably. People will come up with new problems that they cannot solve, and use god as their answer.
I might write more about this once I get home, I'm leaving a friends house at the moment. Feel free to reply in the meantime though...
To each their own opinion. I personally don't feel I have to argue about this anymore. If you are that determined to get the last word in, you may have it. So I don't believe that Darwin's theory is 100% correct. Does that make me ignorant? No. I've read about his theory, I know what he was thinking, and at the time, it may have been logical. That's right, you clearly stated that it's a "super-exagerated form of adaptation and natural selection" which it is NOT. It's just a single word used for the process of adaptation and natural selection. There is no exaggeration to it.

EDIT:BTW, I don't think this thread was such a good idea after all... This is the crap wars are made of. Arguing over who's god is the right god and if theres a god. So I guess until we die, the unbelievers won't know for sure. Let me leave you with this:
God, whoever he may be to you, whether it's monotheistic or polytheistic, I beleive is all the same person/thing on a whole. In the Bible it says that you will only suffer eternal damnation if you DENY the name of God. So I believe, if someone has never heard the name of God. They cannot deny it. Therefore still being saved from banishment from heaven. To those who do deny God, please reconsider. Even if it's not the Christian God, it makes you feel so much better about who you are and everything you have in the long run. Not like you have anything to lose if you do practice a religion. Right?
But its not just an excuse or reason for unexplainable events. Things recorded in the Bible,Qaran,Torah have been proved to be historically true, such as crucifixions and public executions in the Roman empire. For example, the place where Jesus and the two other criminals were crucified "Golgotha" (Skull rock) is still standing and can be viewed today therefore there must truth in what the religions are saying....Quote:

There is lot of evidence that the stories of the Prophets are True .. like Noah's Ark which they found in Turkey .. or the demolish of sodom ..which is now known as the Dead Sea or near the dead sea and other more .. these all cant be a coincidence ... its hard for ppl long time ago to know everything or make up things like that .. and write a book about it .. its not logical for me that is :D
So they're historically true... that's believable. There WAS a man named Jesus, and he WAS crucified by the Romans because he DID believe that he was the son of a god.Quote:

Legends and myths are often passed down for a long long time. What if today somebody claims that the Loc Nes Monster talked to him, giving him 10 holy commands. Some zealot somewhere might start a religion based on this whole incident. What if 100 or even 1000 years in the future scientists prove that the Loc Nes Monster really did exist? The main point I want to get across to you, is that religion is the artificial result of man's search for answers.
i believe in evolution and science... but there are still too many questions... and thinking bout death scares me....
imma stop typing cuz i dont feel good thinking bout this sh!t so imma stop!
The question still remains! Which God should you believe in?
Ive been searching and reading my Bible quite alot and many people have challenged me about my faith and its quite okay because the Truth is there written in the Bible and you may say 'what about this.... and what about that, why does this happen?....how did this go' but its all written in the Bible plain and clear for u to read if ur interested. You should read it some time and maybe your questions will be answered!
