Diablo 2 Patch V1.11

Thats what turns me off of HC, you get a lv 80 or something going, then all you need is a little lag spot or some dumb moron in the game, and your done, all that time gone to waste. I go back to Diablo every now and then, but the 1.11 patch peaked my intrest. Anyone see the new bosses yet? They only show in hell, and are supposed to be harder to kill then that Diablo Clone.

Anyhow, dont bother talking about Diablo 3, as of now, nothing has been announced, and nothing is really pointing to Blizzard wanting to devlop a new Diablo. Hopefuls however are thinking at some upcoming game convention (NOT the next E3, its something else) that Blizzard is to be saying something regarding such a devlopment.

It does make you wonder that out of the blue they release a new patch, perhaps they are? I dont know.

Oh and one last note, c3po SHOULD work, I mean, mine does ^_^

Tell me when you make a new character... I&#39;ll start one with you. I can&#39;t promise I&#39;ll go very far with it though, I&#39;ll probably stop playing a few days later unless I get hooked again.

Hardcore is amazing, I see no reason why you shouldn&#39;t be dead after you die. I don&#39;t know how your c3po is working... it shouldn&#39;t be lol.


News Update
I can&#39;t judge the severity of this very well as I haven&#39;t played in a couple days... but here&#39;s something new:
The maphack (Easymap or something I think) that more then 50% (it&#39;s been the only working MH for days) of D2 players were using (might have been every version of it, might have been added in late) 3 days after the new ladder season started has officially been TROJANED. Thousands of characters have been lost, items have been stolen, and a few people are getting very rich :lol: . I don&#39;t think a ton&#39;s been stolen though, I think whoever did it was mainly out to eliminate the competition from the new ladder. Everybody who has used it has not lost their account (yet) however, so this leads to believe that it was added in by somebody, hosted somewhere, and that version later spread.

Some personal experience: A friend of a friend lost his account but was able to get it back with password recovery after a few hours of his password being changed... he didn&#39;t loose anything. Aside from this, I&#39;ve heard various messages to and from my friends about missing accounts and the such but havn&#39;t paid too much attention. Weird eh?

It should be, maybe Im thinking of 1.10 but I thought I ran it in 1.11, maybe not :lol:


What makes HC so great anyway? I duel with people, and frankly I dont want to duel others in HC and wind up dying and loosing all the time. Its wasted anyway but loosing a char like that makes it seem even more depressing :lol:

Update: I had a lvl 80 HC Sorc die... everyone feel the pain. :(
