Octane is a ripper

Ignoring who is involved and looking at just what it sounds happened, I can understand how both sides are feeling. I see it as more of a miscommunication than anything.

It looks like Octane looked at the signatures that were shown to him as examples of what the recipient of the signature wanted and used one. The joke being (I'm guessing) he just gave the recipient exactly what he wanted by giving him one of the examples of what to follow.

That being said, I think that Octane could have handled it better. He should have made it clearer in his explanation and apology what happened and what was intended. I can understand why Sidra isn't happy. He's seeing how people will jump at the chance to attack someone like FadeToBlack, but because this was done a few months ago, that time annuls the misdeed, it doesn't matter and that it has voided his right to be angry and to express it.

When he's talking about you, madball, he's just saying that you like to pick and choose the people you'll stand behind and those you'll do quite the opposite.

I don't, though, condone the attitude SK is having. This can all be handled much more effeciently if its repaired with a little more order.

Actually no it wasn't a cheap shot. All i'm saying is that I hope it wasn't just a generic grunge sig, kinda like what we've all churned out by the dozens.

As for how balanced I am, I know Octane about as well as I know you. Which is not at all, so stop crying conspiracy theory. I know how bad you want to make me and the other staff look like tyrants so everyone feels so sorry for you and takes your side. You wouldn't be the first to try that sleazeball tactic and you certainly won't be the last.

As for questioning my maturity, that's pretty funny coming from a guy whos crying over a sig some noob ripped from him 6 months ago.

Actually Jack if you read the entire thread you would see that in his original thread I didn't choose a side as you say I did.

The main reason I trashed the thread is because I knew it would turn into a piece of garbage just like this one. It makes it look like a bunch of 10 year olds come to this site. I would prefer to not have it look that way but, I will leave that decision up to Metal from now on.

Madball - I read this thread and the previous one. When I gave that little explanation, it was an attempt to say what Sidra was thinking.

If you want an example, I'll refer to the fadetoblack incident. Equal and Fade have had a personal battle for a long time and when they started to go at it, you clearly picked sides. Equal said something completely offensive when Fade was apologizing (though he threw an insult or two back) and you, being a moderator/admin, simply quoted Equal and posted an emoticon saying "Owned". That didn't seem balanced nor did it seem appropriate, especially considering your position here. All I meant by that is if you're going to claim to be a balanced figure of authority, then at least be consistent.

FOR THE LAST TIME:

He said earlier, he didn't know any better.

NOW HE SAYS IT WAS A JOKE.

He's lied and contradicted himself so many times now, but yet Madball stays with him, and lets octane bust out with the classy insults such as "retard" but people edit and delete my posts when I report advertisers and rippers.

And about this "conspiracy" against me, yes, there is. When I do cx alot of favors, and have been here way longer then you Madball, but yet everyone in this thread when I do the right thing, gangs up on me, it makes you kinda wonder...

I think an apology from Madball is in order, because I proved that octane lied in this thread, and yet Madball is just trying to dirty my reputation and claims that I am trying to get people turn on the staff, when yet all the staff has turned on me.

What happened to the good old days of cx? I mean, I can't even do anything without getting in trouble. Even when im following the rules AND reporting rippers. Explain that one for a change.

What the **** are you talking about? There are two people supporting you, one of them is/was staff, so how can you say we are ganging up on you. Jack is supporting you as well, indirectly. Madball "screwed up" by deleting the old thread, quit getting on his case about it, its not a huge deal.

Let me make this really clear for everyone, I have no friends here. I do not take any sides because I like one member more than the other. The only person I ever talk to on MSN is Metal and even that is a rarity. So all these accusations of taking sides is pretty rediculous. If I said "owned" then it was probably because Equal said something that I thought deserved a "owned".

Just because i&#39;m staff doesn&#39;t mean I can&#39;t talk a little shit with the rest of the members. I&#39;m here to enjoy myself, and i&#39;m not gonna worry about looking all proffesional for you guys.

Some members seem to think that they could say whatever they want to but staff members have to tread on thin ice so we could look proffesional. Well that&#39;s not me, if I have something to say i&#39;m gonna say it regardless of what anyone thinks about me.
