No, you don't need to try it to talk + discuss it at all.
There are many scienctific, moral, and other matters that come into drugs, that let us also know about them.
You may think their good when your smoking them, but, you will regret it when you're older and more mature.
u will not know something in its totality until u'll have an experience with it... and yeah, maybe later i'll regret it, maybe no (i know a lot of adults that smoke it..), but for a maturity mess, just because u've got more responsabilities and surely smoking can take out your attention from them...
but what i'm contesting is the generalization that sarxous wrote, that if u'r a smoker it's beacuse u'r a loser, u aren't the leader of ur "group of friends", ur father beat u.... cmon guys, this is the mind of an unexperienced head....

Ok if you feel you have nothing to lose then your already a loser. Because people who lose vision of what could lie ahead for them are as good as dead. The 2nd reason may be "They're friends do it so they want to do it."
Ok....your obviously not the leader of your group of friends and you should already instantly look down upon yourself. Be a leader and not a follower. Third reason may be "They've done other drugs and they just want more of a high"

In my personal experience, people who, responsibly, use cannabis, are often a lot more mature then others who often hold the oppinion 'drugs are bad' (because mommy told them.)
I haven't seen any responds on my arguments pro-legalisation, i would like to see some to keep this debate going:)
its not gonna be legalized because, even tho it has medicinal purposes, there are other drugs that work better and do the same thing...that is the only argument for it that ppl in congress and shit would take into consideration...
if it was used for medicinal purposes still then we would also be using cocaine as an anesthetic...

I also think we can't underestimate the economical benefits of legalising drugs.
On another note:
The use of cannabis in the Netherlands (where it is legalised) is lower than in countries where cannabis is oppressed/illegal:
of 15 yr olds:
Netherlands: 28% have used cannabis
Ireland: 39%
Brittish ppl: 38%
French: 38%
Belgians: 32%
So the argument of legalisation stimulating usage=nono

yeah, im all for legalizing it, but its not gonna happen cus if it gets to congress then its all over the news and then u have like massive massive protestors by brainwashed parents that think its the devil and they are all like 'omg no, legal weed makes kids thing its ok omgomgomgomg'

Sarxous also said that "a person doesn't need it." This is true. Very true. It isn't necessary in life for someone to smoke canibis, or do any other drug.
Sarxous ALSO said, and was accused for this, that smoking is a killer. This is very true. One joint has the same side-effects as 15 cigarrettes, plus some effects on the brain. Smoking is known to cause cancer, therefore it's a killer. Therefore Sarxous was right.

where did u read that 1 joint has the same effect of 15 cigarettes????? 1 cigarette is a lot more dangerous than a joint beacuse of the chemical substances in the tobacco..... and in a joint there's less tobacco than a cigarette...Quote:

yeah, hes wrong, 1 joint isnt equal to 15 cigs
its more like 1 puff of weed is equal to about 4 puffs of cigs, and its mostly due to how its done because joints dont have filters and when u smoke weed u usually inhale more of it
