Damn IT, I'm doing this tutorial and I can't figure the damn thing out, now it's starting to piss me off. I'm lost right where you hit control + g then switching blend to lighten.... here's my problem... the damn beam of light is visible outside the letters. Let me get a screen shot...

nevermine, I found out my own answer.
i just gave this a try and while everythign seems to work fine and my doda (thats the offical term by the way) goes accross the text all good, it just does not seem to glow like yours does, anything that might cause this? i mean it simply looks like a while strip that fades to the egde going across my text as apposed to highlighting it as such......
EDIT:
here is what i have done so far, is this how it should turn out? some way i can up the shineyness a bit? if you get my drift

I dont understand this part. Please help.
select the first frame and drag the layer with ur gradient to the left so u cant see it
then select the second and drag the layer with the gradient to the right so u cant see it
and reselect the 1st frame

how do you get i to only run over the text...when i try to do this my bar goes over the spaces and just looks like a bar running over the text ......doesnt look like a shine........
i can't find the tween button where is he?
I've always wondered how people did that. Thanks for the Tutorial, I've already used it in a sig.
