The PS3 is definatly not being delayed for improvement, it's because they made it too expensive and they are cutting back on hardware.

that's a comparison of the PS3 and the XBOX 360 before sony had to cut back on hardware.
Enh I'm not into console gaming. From what I've seen, it looks like these new systems have graphics that nice computers (with good video cards) have been pumping out for awhile now. I like it better on the computer because, assuming one has the right hardware, computer gaming will always be ahead of consoles. There are video cards out right now (just outrageously priced at the moment :D ) that are better than consoles will be years in the future.
If I had to put my vote in though, I'd say the nintendo revolution because it isn't so traditional. Its innovative and original.
But we dont really know much about the Revolution, and that new controller looks kinda lame. Plus Nintendo doesnt have many good games for Gamecube, what makes you think the Revolution will? Its geared more towards young kids imo.
Like you said, we don't know much. Good reason not to make too many assumptions, even if they are based on their previous console ;) Nintendo, being so innovative, is pretty flexible so my guess is that they'll fix their mistakes from the last console. I do have a gamecube though, the new zelda is gonna kick ass :D
Yeah, thats the only reason i still have my gamecube. I hope the delays on it are going to make it worth the wait, im sure it will be. the only Zelda i didnt like was wind waker, most because of the cell shaded look of it.

nintendo's fanbase is mostly around the younger audience, and it is clear to say that they have control over it. however, with most gamers being the teenage and adult audiences these days, nintendo needs to establish a fan base there. unfortunately a lot of game developers are leaving nintendo for the other systems because they know there is more money in them. so i don't expect a lot from nintendo anymore.
if you read up on the revolution though, you'll read that nintendo's goal with it is to not only attract all age groups, but to attract people that aren't gamers. The reason the controller looks like a TV remote is nintendo's hypothesis is that only gamers would pick up a game controller, but everybody would pick up a tv remote. Its an experiment, so we'll see what happens ;)

all the power to them, but it is a stretch to think that people are going to fork out another 400+ dollars after buying a 360 or ps3. 360 already has a good foothold on pretty much all ages of gamers, and i'm sure the ps3 will eventually have one as well. after seeing the gamecube's performance, i think nintendo is just going to fall behind again, because they are everything to all people, but aren't really special in any category. it'll be innovative, yes, but will it be fun for serious gamers? i suspect not.

ps3 for me but i heard something about the new games they goimg to sell when we purchase them we actually dont own the game we r purchasing a lisemce to play the game or something like that
Then how will they rent games out?
I'm probably going to buy the PS3... But I've heard nothing but good things about Nintendo lately, so I'll probably by the Nintendo Revolution too. =]
