I've been smoking since middle school, and I've never let weed affect my judgment or anything else for that matter, It also never made me want to graduate onto harder drugs. I've stuck with pot and that's it. The way I see it, is that it's the individuals own choice to let marijuana take control over them, and for that to happen they couldn't have had much self-control to begin with.
weed does affect your lungs.. but doesn't produce a tar substance like cigerettes which is what kills you... the tar... because there are so many chemicals in cigerettes and poisens that's what kills you.. the smoke inhilation is a killer but not to the ffect of cigerettes..

ive been smoking pot since i was 13. the last few years ive been smoking it like crazy. i do everything high. from school to work to dinner with grandma.
and for those who argue this... marijuana is a gateway drug. how many people do you know who do heavy drugs and havent smoked weed before? everyone comes across the choice to smoke pot..and is then open to choices of trying other, more powerful drugs. i have done quite a bit of experimenting myself and ... drugs are awesome.
what else is awesome is that pot or drugs or alcohol have never kept me from doing anything and being successful. i went to 90% of my classes in highschool stoned out my mind. yet when i graduated i got an award for great marks at the applied level. also.. i have worked just about everyday for the past 2 1/2 years and im surely baked for that as well. working hard...so i can save up money for more drugs AND college. that's right. i start college next month. so take that and shove it.
pot only affects you mentally if you allow it to. honestly..when people start to smoke pot they're weakness shines and they let the drug take them over. and that's your choice. to that one guy about his friends being lazy and dumb; that's their fucking fault they let it weigh out everything else that was important to them. that's actually pathetic. and just proves they can't handle it.
smoking in general is soo bad for your lungs...and chems physically fuck you right up.
for all those bong tokers; take it easy..joints & pipes are the way to go. you get bronchitis from using bongs alllll the time. i know what youre thinking, bongs are better for you because they purify the smoke. well..youre also putting moisture into your lungs. stay safe [:
and for the record. when i started smoking pot..i let it take over. i didnt give a shit about school and blah blah. but it's like i realized...what the hell am i gonna do when i run out of marijuana and money.
so i devoted myself to a good life so i can make some great cash. so i can PARTY even harder. and that's the darn truth.

Marijuana isn't a gateway drug. It all depends on the person. They only say it's a gateway drug because most of the time the people who use cocaine and harder drugs tried marijuana first. Pot isn't always that intense. Sometimes it is boring when its shitty weed. Thats why I think people get bored with it. They're not getting the good stuff and they want to get higher. If they would just legalize it they could make some superstrong pot and then the people who smoke it wont want to go to harder stuff. In Amsterdam hardly anyone uses the harder stuff compared to the USA. If the gateway theory was right then Amsterdam would have a ton of hard drug users.
I smoke pot almost everyday. And I get pretty good grades. I do forget alot of the stuff though if I use pot heavily during the school time though. That's only because marijuana messes with the short term memory. Short term memory is the memory you use for stuff thats not so important or that you're not going to remember for very long anyway. My friend smokes pot almost as much as me and he's like a qualified genius. He takes all the advanced classes. During the lunch times we sometimes spark up a joint and smoke it and go to our next class (which was keyboarding and thats the only reason we went stoned) high as hell and stilll ace it.
They need to hurry and make it legal all over the world.

You my friend have never been stoned.. Cannabis re-aligns the neurons in the brain altering perception and ability to think, all it allows is for a new perception to be in view, a new way to look at things. Creativity for example is a result from neurons switching places and causing a new connection that allows flow from the right side of the brain to the left. Half of this "its bad for you" shit is over exaggerated and mostly bullshit. look it up, and look both sides of it out you dumbasses not off of anti drug sites!.Quote:

So if i smoke pot, I get to have a good time exploring my mind being creatively relaxed, figure ways to cope and deal with problems. perhaps even discover all this media bullshit being drilled into your head everyday is just an ideal way of life, that is being pressured into you by someone else. someone else's way of looking at things and their telling you how to act.. sounds like peer pressure to me, fucking media pressure more like it.

Ok, what I have to say about weed is this. It's a horrible plant that ruins people's lives. There was a kid that lives on my street that used to be really cool, by the way he's only 12, and we used to bike together and we used always hangout and have fun. Well one day he decided to start skating so I though to myself, "Ok, this could be cool, I guess I will try with him." So we skated for few days and then I stopped and he kept on skating. So, with skating comes new friends which are also skaters, these skaters used peer pressure to get this poor kid to start smoking weed. Now there is something wrong with this picture because my friend, actually my Ex-Friend, if I may call him that could have become a professional BMX Rider and went far in life but because of weed his life is messed up forever. So, basically I'm trying to tell everyone here that weed is one of the most horrible things that anyone could start doing. Believe it or not, I would rather somebody smoke cigarettes because weed is about ten times worse than cigarettes. But, actually no one should smoke anything because they are all horrible.

Come on now, don't blame your ex-friend's plight on a herb. That's saying you kick a bear, and it disfigured you, and then saying the bear ruined your life. Your friend potentially (you can't say he did) ruined his own life, nothing else.
He was peer pressured, it's a two-sided situation. The 'skaters' may have pressured him, but your friend gave in when he could've said fock off.
i personally think its okay to try smoking pot, as long as you dont get hooked. i have never done it before though ive had the opportunity to, i just dont find the need for it. i think being baked during work or school ( or with grandma....) is kinda excesive. i think tobacco is a much worse habbit than weed though. for many reasons i dont really feel like explaining because its late and im kinda tired :P i associate with people who smoke, its their choice and im not going to push my beliefs onto them. and if they offered me any of their shit i would just ay no, plain and simple.
but whatever, its a persons own life, and how they make decisions is up to them.

not daily tho. not even weekly. and i smoke it, only when i want to chill out, watch the moon and stars. and then i become with a nice idea of a photo, maybe i write something on my mind, and then i forget everything :P lol its like having a good time with my own. i listen everything better and stuff, i think its nice
