Hope is a good thing - maybe the best thing, and no good thing ever dies. I have to remind myself that some birds weren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just to bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knew it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But your world is just that much colder and emptier that they're gone. I don't know... maybe I just miss my friend.
-Stephen King, The Shawshank Redemption

How does one protect an entire city? By making sure the shadow he casts is long and wide...so that its reach can embrace--or engulf--all that walk here. So that every man, woman and child in the city of Gotham can feel its touch. If you are good, the shadow's wings are a welcome, protective blanket. If you are bad, you know its touch as a black splinter of fear.

Jack: Correction. 3000 BLANK pages. Only the first one has any writing.
Topanga: Well what does it say?
Jack: 'Lose one friend, lose all friends, lose yourself'.
(To Eric) Why did you leave all the other pages blank?
Eric: Nothing else seemed important.
To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.

Ordinary riches can be stolen; real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.
-Oscar Wilde
I will have poetry in my life. And adventure. And love. Love above all. No...not the artful postures of love, not playful and poetical games of love for the amusement of an evening. But love that...over-throws life. Unbiddable, ungovernable, like a riot in the heart, and nothing to be done, come ruin or rapture. Love, like there has never been in a play.
-Shakespeare In Love
Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.
-Oscar Wilde
To love is to suffer.. to avoid suffering one must not love.. but then one suffers from not loving.. therefore to love is to suffer.. not to love is to suffer.. to be happy is to love.. to be happy is then to suffer.. but suffering makes one unhappy.. therefore to be unhappy.. one must love.. or love to suffer.. or suffer from too much happiness....

* Can I get some opinions on a new layout? *
Current layout:
http://quotevoid.sitesled.com
Random layout:
http://quotevoid.sitesled.com/testing
Kind of kiddy layout, but has potential I believe (new banner probably, unless you all like it):
http://quotevoid.sitesled.com/3.0
Another layout I made that I like, but it might be too simple:
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/1821/untitledvh3.png
I'm not really liking the first one very much. I would really like to start working on my site again, but I just can't unless I like the layout. And that screws me over because I have such a hard time making a layout I like enough to keep. So I never end up getting anything done.
So its up to you all, which do you think is the best?
