you can have your own opinions about your game preference, but saying that the 360 has no good games is just ignorant
gears of war, ghost recon 3, project gotham 3, splinter cell 4, halo 3 (while i hated halo 2, i still enjoy the series.. and you don't have to be a fanboy to do that) dark sector, perfect dark, BC (not confirmed.. but it will, and when it does come out, it'll blow anything out of the water), Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, quake 4, king kong.. not to mention all the ungodly good sports games that will follow
i hate people who won't buy something like the 360 just because they hate microsoft. computers wouldn't be where they are today without it, so people need to wake up and stop bitching (not just referring to you)

@Vermillion - I heard that too which sux, but XBL is cheap so Ill end up getting gold anyway.
@Sidra-Kur - Microsoft purchased the Unreal Engine. This doesnt mean its going to be exactly similar to the game but it means that its going to be a damn good shooter. Gears of War looks amazing and it being based off of the Unreal Engine is going to make it a Top Seller reguardless of it UR is on PC or not. People still enjoy console Gaming. Secondly, which is a big mistake, PS3 will be more expensive than the Xbox, if not around the same price. Xbox will not and I repeat will not be more expensive than the PS3. Xbox 360 will be around the $400 mark and ive heard the PS3 will be around the $500.

Sont hasn't released prices because they are expected to the release their console in under a year whilst the 360 is coming out this Christmas.
I heard a story that Sony expect to sell the PS3 for around 10 years similar to what they did whith the PS1.

Why not sell it that long? No one is gonna be able to compare to it, just like the ps1. The ps1 took the cake over Dreamcast, n64 and Nintendo. And the ps3 will do the same, just like the ps2 did to the Xbox. The Ps2's hardware is ridicoulsly powered. Everyone says that Xbox has the best graphics, which is a load of shit. RE4 which came out on the ****in Game Cube had better graphics then any Xbox game, just like MGS3 and 2.

also, ps2 has not taken over the xbox. the xbox has made VAST progress over the ps2 as of late. when it was first released, the ps2 raped the xbox, but now people are coming to their senses. RE4 has great grahpics, but not as good as some xbox games, i'm sorry. Same with the ps2.
The xbox DOES have better specs and performs better than the ps2 does. You can't deny the facts. And now, the games are better. Therefore, the ps2 really doesn't have anything on the xbox anymore imo.
Also, the 360 and the ps3 are both rediculously powered.. so by saying that the ps3 is, you must also mention the 360. the difference in performance is hardly worth comparing. The only difference will be the games, controllers, and online capabilities. And as far as I can tell, the 360 leads in each of those categories. at least in my opinion.
I'm still planning on buying both, simply because i like the games both have to offer.

Anyways, PS3 cut out some of its features, it would have been too expensive with all that horsepower under it ;) So they had to cut stuff to make it under $400
As for the Nintendo Gamecube, in my opinion it was a flop. They just made new Mario and Zelda games... lame
Anyways, they said something on G4 I thought was true about Nintendo and its Revolution. They said something kind of along these lines:
"Nintendo is rumored to be revealing the controller for the Revolution really soon. I think all of us are going to get exciting, and it will just be another boring controller and not be 'Revolutionary' like everyone is saying its going to be. Nintendo has done it before, and I wouldnt be suprised if it was just another controller"
(That is not exact, but it was just along the lines)
ps2 did beat xbox in sales, but, and i might be wrong, xbox is beating it in recent months. also, like i said, the ps2's hardware has nothing on the xbox
