It looks almost the same, but not quite. He just copied the idea. In a way.. thats ripping. But he didn't actualy take the sig, edit it.. and call it his own.Quote:

Even though in the thread he stated that he didn't try to do that, I still think that he looked at it and copied the idea of the sig and made his own. I know that its hard to find ideas to make sigs, and he probably resorted to looking at one and then taking the ideas and made his own. They look almost the same, and have the same scanline pattern, which is very odd. The same color scheme, and the text is in the same place, border has the same style. I really dont think this was accidental. I think theres a side to octane he hasn't told us or we don't know about.

it doesn't look the same because he doesn't have the same skill they do. He used the exact same render in the exact same way, that's basically editing it and calling it his own.

Let's get some facts straight so, hopefully, everyone would be happy.
- Octane ripped Sidra 5 months ago when he started to design
Good/Wrong? Wrong.
- Sidra just found out about it and decided to report it.
Good/Wrong? Neither, but he has every right to do it.
- Sidra reported him in a way that was meant to make him look like the devil, and possibly get him banned from here.
Good/Wrong? Pretty much wrong.
- Octane made up excuses (and it's your decision to believe it or not) and didn't apologise in the way he should've.
Good/Wrong? Very wrong.
- madball trashed the thread since he didn't want a flame war to start (so much for that)... Without picking anybody's side.
Good/Wrong? Closing it would've been a better idea, but leaving it there wouldn't have been a wise choice...
- Sidra and Octane had a little flame war, Sidra got his friends to back him up (like friends should do) and again, Octane, instead of apologising, tried to defend himself.
Good/Wrong? Both sides fucked up.
- During this dumb-fest, some people started wandering off to other topics, such as: the staff shouldn't respond, we aren't human, don't have feelings other than vengance and pure anger, and appearantly, trying to make everyone here look like a monster.
Good/Wrong? Wrong, and it's not the first time this has been brought up, as madball said.
You think madball should've acted differently? Maybe, in your opinion.

N-O. We gave him this position only because of the way he acts, his level of maturity, and good spirit. What I never got, is why people think that older/mature people shouldn't cuss or laugh about stupid stuff?
There's no conspiracy against anyone here... Ofcourse there are people we like less, but we don't let that affect our decisions. That, in my eyes, is maturity. I don't think any of you would like the staff to be so quiet, professional and boring, like in many places.
On-topic again, Sidra, no warning to you because I believe you do think we are here to make you look bad (for some reason) and you only tried to defend yourself during all of this.
Octane, if this happened yesterday I would've given you a small suspension, but Sidra, even though you only found out about it, it still happened more than 5 months ago. Although, if Octane will do something like that again, the decision will be harsher than usual.
Now, thread closed.
If you have VERY important things to say, PM me. But I'm not gonna answer messages like "I agree" or "What was that about", and what I usually get after these kind of stuff.
