it's ok, but you could have done more to it. just brushing and a stock with a color. maybe i'm a little biased because i hate plain purple (unless it's with the right kind of yellow--then it's brilliant) but still, keep it from being monotoned at least. like that stock though, even if it is a bit overused. oh, and that 'danger' text doesn't fit there.

first one: the master sword rocks, and you did a good job on it, but i'm not so sure on the background 8/10

second one: eh, the composition's all weird, sorry man i don't like it much 4/10

9/10 - I absolutely love the lighting and the way that you blended in the render. The text is blended in very well.
