You fail at punctuation and grammar Ptka...
Really now?
I've probably got some of the best spelling, grammar and punctuation on this forum... :P
Oh, really?
Well then, what is wrong with this sentence? Neither of the boys is here.
And this one? I was scratched by the dog's ferocious paw.
Find the errors, if any, and fix them.
First one is easy..."Neither of the boys is here" is grammatically correct.
And I'm not actually sure about the second one, but I can't seem to find anything blatantly wrong with it...
1st one, "Neither of the boys are here."
i dont see any other mistake.
Ohh you sneaky fellow, well, you're right about the first one. That usually gets people :)
The second one is only wrong if you're writing it in a paper/exam/whatever for college... It's passive voice, it would have to be "The dog's ferocious paw scratched me."
Fuzer... you're just dead wrong...
Ah yes, passive voice. :D
My voice is never passive.
Stop regurgitating gibberish from school books, Miril.
Haha. aint ain't a word. word... son.
Pwn'd.
And that IS a word... :D
I was being facetious. Take that!
