Is there something that can record what you do on your desktop. I know there are recorders for when your in game but is there anything that will let you record anything on your desktop. Like to make a tutorial or show an example of how to edit music videos?

Windows Movie Maker. Comes free with windows, its under acessories>entertainment

yeah i'd suggest fraps, i can give you a free version if you don't have it.. plus you can use stuff like ulead mediastudio i have it but i' not sure what it does.. ahh well good luck.. you recording games or something?
