That isn't the point. The point is that this is supposed to be a free country, and the right the PRIVACY is supposed to be one of our most sacred rights. Screening internet traffic isn't that bad because there's no real expectation of privacy on the net. Phone conversations ARE supposed to be private, the government has no right to listen in no matter what their intentinos.
