You are correct there mate! I've seen them live on LowLands a rock festival here in Holland. It was great. You should have been there!
I like most of the songs, especially Mardybum, Fake tales of San Francisco.

Arctic Monkeys are wicked. They do get some airplay here, but very little. w/e :) Fake Tales and A Certain Romance are one of my favorite songs by them.

Best brit band in the past five years, in my opinion. When The Sun Goes Down, You Probably Couldn't See For The Lights But You Were Staring Straight At Me, and Leave Before The Lights Come On are my favorites. I missed them by two days during the summer, they were going to be in San Diego when I was in Orange County, and LA when I was in San Diego. I really wanted to go to one of their shows, too.

Though they are good, i don't really like them, and that kinda exaggerates it.

There wasn't any hype where I live. No one really knows (or cares,) about the Arctic Monkeys. It's still the traditional Nickleback, the Fray, and Hinder that dominate the hype and shaking power up here. So I never heard of them until they released the first CD, and then Franz Ferdinand was the only popular band people could compare them to state side.
