VERY BRIGHT
Well, by the look of his current signature, I think he likes it bright :) Hey, if it's his style, then I think it looks pretty good. (But yes... needs more of a visible background and maybe bigger stock?) kiu
Added the original stock to highlight the work.
Any more advice? Dont ever seem to get much feedback on my work here,
I think the canvas is a bit too big as the effects are quite subtle. I don't think it's much of a loss if you cut off the sides like this:

Other then the painfully obvious loss in quality that occured when I cut off the sides in paint (@school, no photoshop). Other then that it's quite bright but I like it.
Try to add some textures to this one, and if you can, bring the lighting down a notch (unless thats how you want it.), and try to create more flow - adding a motion blur to the guy in the direction he's facing, maybe, or, liquifying the bground to move towards his line of sight. I'm still new to this myself so this advice isn't that great but... just a personal opinion.
too bright. to fix this, lower the level of opacity on some of the bright layers in your psd. about 40 - 60% opacity should help reduce the brightness. also starting with a higher quality image would help, there is alot goin on in the original its very chaotic. good work and keep it up.
here's a link to my photobucket for some higher quality images. hope you find something.
