Lets get some opinions guys.
Also I would like to anounce me retirement of my position on GFXVoid.
There is alot of shit going on right now and when I try to explain it to someone they come up with false truths and basically call me a liar.

No man that suks. I might not have been here very long but still man you really shouldn't leave. You work is some of the best on the forum. I think I speak for the vast majority of members here that wouldn't want you to leave.


On another note the piece is very well done. This only strengthens my above statement.

Lol, The members realyl have a way of changing my mind. But I don't know...There is one person that just really pissed me off.

Nice, I always loved dark art, though a lot of people aren't so keen on this genre of art. It's always thought provoking, and amusingly disturbing imo :D .

Notes

- You should definitely consider taking that tree bark-like texture out of the eyes. The eyes are an integral part of any image, especially one like this, as it can depict an assortment of emotions.
- Eye's seem to have a different reflections, one more crips than the other which, to me, degrades the piece somewhat (the eye to your left almost looks brushed over, might just be me).
- The text isn't great, I think you should put a thick black border around the image, with more space at the bottom to fit the text (centered/Times New Roman, or some standard san-serif font), like that of rabies and some of db's pieces. Adds to the professional feel easily, and doesn't distract you as much as it does now sitting on top of the image in the corner.
- The lines sitting on top and below the text should lower in opacity when and _if_ you update it with the above suggestion.

Great job and neat concept with the little glass orb in the forehead!

Don't leave man. You're one of my favorite members here on GFXVoid - you were on the staff for a reason - you rock! I'd like to see you stay, I loved having you on my staff but things came up and thats that.

CRITIQUE - Font color doesnt work, font effects dont work. Try keeping the same font but grunging it up a bit? Remove that thing with low opacity under it - horrible.

Nice work on the Manipulation man. Some of the brushing seems to get into the eye. You should try fixing it.


And about you leaving...
I know I don't know you that well m8, but you shouldn't care about what other people say or think. Just forget them and continue on with your life. Atleast you know who's right and who's wrong. Glad that you decided to stick around.

No, Famly was dying...And when I lost my position at GFXVoid, The admin basically called me a liar for me reason why..

Nice job man, if you do decide for sure to stay, that's great :) But if not, just don't forget about us here on gfx void.

This isn't the place to be off topic about this, so i'll keep this short. I dont think you should have to stay just because we want you to. Idk what happened between you and other ppl, i won't pretend i do...but don't do us a favor by staying. We all want you here...but we want everyone to be happy, and if you don't think right now you can enjoy it, your work will suffer and that's just not fun. So basically, take about a month off from graphics...completely. Don't take a single picture, make nothing in photoshop. nothing. Uninstall it if you have to. Take some time to observe what's around you...maybe get interested in a couple girls..hang out with some friends you've kinda abandoned. In about a month, come back...do some larger pieces or a genre you're never done before. It's what i did, and it worked WONDERS. Keep posting here, but be more active in lighthearted discussion like those in off-topic or random musings. Really look at what makes good art, and then strive to be better.


Anyways, for critiqe on this one....i'm not a fan of dark art by any means, but this is one of my favs in terms of all art. The texture's a little bit overdone, and some spots could use a little softening up. I agree with people about the eyes, the one does seem a little brushed over.



Overall though, i'm impressed you made me give a good comment on dark art, i almost never do.

It's sad to see you go man, i'd love to talk more on msn when you're gone and junk.... nice work to a great leaving piece :lol:
