in limbo

I made this a few weeks ago, but havent been able to post, beucause i havent been able to use my laptop.

wrong section mein freund, but it looks trés bon, foggy and peaceful with a hint of sadness.

oh lord, ive done it again. i think this is the 2nd or 3rd time ive put it in the wrong forum -_-

some one please move this into digi art? please?

and thanks man, anything you can think of that would improve this?

i can't terragen so i wouldn't be much help, but maybe make the fog not so uniform.

This gave me an idea, your a genius my undertoned friend. The terrain looks great, Like the luminosity you gave the sun so it gives mystical look, but having your land shaped like that gave me an idea. I'll explain more later.

I love the mystical look of it , looks great, so does the landcape it self. I'm not that good with terragen myself, but I have tried it once, and this looks good to me :D gj .

thanks guys. every time i seem to do something in Terragen, i end up making the luminocity so high that you can hardly see anything.

You should call it "Harmony Lagoon" or something of that sort

i called it in limbo because being in limbo is like being neither here nor there. and the place i would concider most peacefull and quit would be a place thats in the middle of no where with nothing to bother me.

What about "in limbo lagoon"?

Very good for a first try. But there is still much you can change, like the water. Try add plugins and see the different result. Maybe add a beachscene (even though it won't fit in really ;)) However, the color you have made it in (lightbluegreen somehow) gives it a mystical look. Very nice.

I don't use terragen so i really can't help other then giving suggestions. You should add non uniform fog and make it just a titch less bright.

Added you to msn, it's a bit easier to explain in realtime than on a forum :)

Try adding a blur fog effect over it, or an angel effect (see: tutorial section). That'd make it look really cool.
