I don't really care much seeing as Im getting a PS3.
But If I were to buy an XBOX360, I would be neutral, not sad since the price of the game is worth it since the graphics improved alot.
$299 is also great, since that's the same price as when XBOX released. Dunno what the upgrade package is so I can't rate it.
i got my ps2 for £600 which is around $1200 and my xbox was alot cheaper the xbox 360 will most likely be around £150 - £200 which isn't so bad but i don't like this competition between ps3 and xbox 360 ... i think i might get both but that will be decided on the quality of games, console, how it works, any complaints they get, any pros and cons basically

hmm true but have you read the specs... sure they'll have good graphics for a while but soon enough pcs will better them... pcs are being updated all the time consoles get brought out every few years and they do one better but soon enough will the playstation just merge into a pc? it already begind with p :lol: not to mention with the functions of the psp along with the gaming i think it's already evolved in my opinion the hype over consoles is stupid after 6 months prices will slash to 1/4 of their original price... and with it only functioning on games at the moment it's rather boring that's why they will intend on breaking the boundaries for pc who knows maybe sony will have their own operating system, can't be a bad thing compared to a money grabbing bastard 1 man leader

From what I heard the lower price point of the 360 was made to combat the pricing of the PS3. Not like I care much, PS3 will be better easily. Of coure, when I speak of such things, I dont look at the graphics aspect, which Villian said the PS2 had "shitty gfx" (someone didnt play God Of War did they? :lol:). Frankly, a couple more shades of pixels doesnt make the game play any better. I also like how the 360, Im hearing strongly about, is going to have very limited backwards compatibility, while both the Revolutions and PS3 have full.... Uhm... whoops? :lol: :lol:

I am still not sure about which console i'm getting for next year. I thought i was gonna be buying the 360 and here i am reading this.. and ps3 is supposed to have more games or something like that, i heard that in e3... well i guess i'll just wait and see.
e3 was show casing the 360 and said to have a vast amount of games playable for online use or single players but then again didn't the ps2 have more games than the xbox anyway it's just a chance of popularity most companies will release games for both ps3 and xbox but over here xb ain't that popular

Well, deciding on a console shouldnt be able how many games each system has, that would be like saying I like this user better then that user because they have more posts (maybe not QUITE like that, but you should get the idea). It should be about the games you want to play, and know you will play. Quality over quantity is also something to look at.

I got my PS2 in my neighborhood EB Games. It could of been $399 not sure because it was SO long ago.

i am getting the xbox 360 and the ps3, and i am getting the nintendo revalution well i dont know why probally just to have more to my collection (me has alot of consoles including the n64 doctor the rare japanese secondary console for the n64 which takes discs, holds around 100-300 games per disc)
