Recently, ZeKayeM totally flamed my beloved siggy for no apparent reason. SO to make him eat his words I askyou: WHO'S IS BETTER?

Your sign is teh win! Even tough I don't like the render so much (too many details for me) it's still better. :)

MinorThreat, yours I like more, but I don't like its size. I like the render....a lot though.
i don't understand why everybody h8s my big sig so much, gives me more room to work...
Sigs aren't meant to be big.. they're meant to be a small peice of work with only the best. But yours is one of the only big sigs i like ^.^
One of the only doesn't make sense... why does everyone use it?!
I think big sigs are ok. I just hate it when you can see their image ended about 100px lower but their image is 500px instead of 400px. It just takes up space!
Smaller signatures can prove you are a better graphic designer. It gives you less space to work with, and if you can make it look good, it is better than a larger sized signature. They also just look plain better.,

you've never seen these? a lot of different people have them on forums. some guy made them, he also made a mozilla firefox one and a mac one.... frankly, I wish I knew the pixel font myself, I've been looking for a good pixel font.

anyway, i don't think there's a better nor worse design or designer. creativity is relative or in other words it's just a matter of preference so no one can say your design nor ZeKayeM's is ugly.
I don't get it why people like Zekayem flamed other designer (there's someone like him among indonesian designers too)? if he thinks he's better than you than he shouldn't say anything bad 'bout your sig. he HAD NO RIGHTS.
as for me, I don't really like abstract stuffs but if i see a good one (like twan's and jerner's sig) a will say that it IS good.

my sig, was made... i think october last year.... it was my first ever animated sig.
it isnt good. the reason i use it is because most people recognise me by it because ive had it so long and i dont really like making sigs anymore so i couldnt be bothered making another one... actually i did make another one right after that.... but i dont like it enough, just had the idea one night.

anyways , since then ive only worked on larger canvas' and i much prefer it.
ooh and both of them were made only with photoshop , everything is totally mine and i had not looked at one tutorial before then.

minor threats sig... horah he made a 3d render , a pretty lame one actually and the colour does not fit the rest of his sig. then he added some text, blended it. then did an extremely common noobish tuted border that every man and his dog has in their sig.

I don't think you (MinorThreat) can take it when ppl put down your sig work....you have to retaliate with a childish "let's fight" remark..which is what this thread is about.. :mellow:
Ppl don't like my sigs..so what..I don't go making topics like this..they don't like them then they don't like them..so what.. :blink: Aslong as I like them then that's all that really matters to me..
But..just to vote on this one..your render is a really...odd shape..and it doesn't match the bg work (which is very light btw). The colour of the render is odd too..Your font is just a white colour with lowered opacity..Is that white text at the top? If it is then its way too small/blurry.. Your spawn sig is better then that one I have to say.
So my vote goes to Z. It's simply different from the rest. Has matching colours all over the sig. It's not a godzilla size..The bg work is little, which I can understand for the colours and animation to be seen easier.The font fits nicely and so do the little borders (in) the sig too.
Minor theat's is far better.
i dont see why anyone is putting down anyones work really. How is that helping? Constructive means adding to the final product not talking trash, so far out of all the threads ive read here, i havent seen zekayem say too much that is constructive. But maybe thats just me.
Regardless, I think we've all evolved to the point where we can appreciate the effort someone puts into their work and perhaps suggest things that might improve it. Saying something about someones sig sucking helps no one.
On the other hand, I can agree with acid... sort of, this thread was unnecessary really, but i wouldnt use as many words as he did.
Personally, I enjoy both works, its too bad zek's attitude doesnt match his talent.
by the way kurt cobain is not giving oral in my sig ...interesting observation though zek...

wow thats constructive critisism, i saw so many helpful tips in that post!! maybe this is why zekayem left. he flames ppl, calls it constructive critisism, and gets mad when they get pissed at him. what an ass, sorry zekayem but you really are. and your sig didnt take any more skill. he says that he hasnt seen any pro work and that he's leaving cuz he wont learn anything here, bullshit. the way you learn is by having critiques. he hasnt posted a single piece for a while. so maybe if you wanna learn you should DO something!?!?!?!Quote:

Not trying to flame you, this is simply my opinion, i like ZeKayeM's better. His is alot smoother in my eyes, your border embossing up the top makes the little lines touch and look really edgy. And the render is not to my taste, so i would go for Zek's. Sorry if i have offended.
