Acrylic and Spray Paint on 12"x17" canvas.

There's really not nearly as much overspray as it looks like, the flash really reflected off the white spray paint badly.

i dun like how hands ure cuted, it should be to the bottom imo, and there are some white spots, if u wanted it like this or not :unsure: , anyway the girl looks really good, fkin flash on it...

The specs around her aren&#39;t intentionaly in the sense that i put them there with a paintbrush. But i also didn&#39;t gaurd against it. I wanted it to be grungy and splattered, very rough. So they happened, which was what I wanted...but not in any specific order.

nice man, you should do some serious stencilin for graffiti art and outher types of art like a collash(dont kno if i spell that right) like if you&#39;ve ever gottin or seen Linkin Parks Cd Meteora there is a DVD that comes with it, and they show how all the graffiti and all the art work was done, alot was actually stenciling. From seeing this id pay for you to do stenciling nice job&#33;&#33;

Thanks. There&#39;s actually very little talent needed for that kind of thing. I just painted the canvas with black and red acrylic and lots of water for a dripping effect... Then I took a picture of Marilyn Monroe, adjusted the levels, printed it out, taped the print-out to an old album cover, and used a dremel to cut it out. Tape it to the canvas, spray paint over it and you&#39;re done.

i agree it isnt so hard to make good piece like this, you just need good idea IMO :)s

I remember this piece. I really wish someone else would try to interpret it. I had a couple ideas as you remembered, but they were convoluted and if I remember correctly, I wasn&#39;t thinking too straight that night.

So anyone else going to take a crack at figuring out the message of the piece? He didn&#39;t make it for the sake of wasting paint. There&#39;s a message here. I wanna discuss this with someone.

I&#39;d love to hear what people think of it. It all has meaning, from the colors to the placement and paint effects. Nothing about this was an accident.

I&#39;ve just already tried. I want to hear what other people think to get my brain moving again.

I hope everyone knows that part of being an artist (for those who are going to take it seriously) is understand and interpreting other works which can lead to inspiration for yourself.
