How many words can you read per minujte?

I took it stoned (now), and I got a 496 reading #. Does that make sense, or am I reading the wrong number or something?

Im pretty sure your reading the right number, I can't find any other number close to the 200-400-500 zone..

It may be my age, but I read much faster and more efficiently on paper. (It's easier to get it in bifocal range. :D)

well i got 850, but i kinda skimmed like hell on last paragraph, so im excellent reader, at 700pm i guess :|

447 wpm, but my eyes are buggered. I cannot read properly on screen >.< I read hell of a lot better on paper though. I have an 85% comp rate. I&#39;m probably in between a good and excellent reader.

i got 1100, but i only got 45% on comprehension. :P

It truly depends on what im reading though.

For example:

Harry Potter books are faster to read than Eragon

this is because harry potter is less filled with captivating stuff, although it still is hard to put the book down

Im only like 230. But i read much faster then that. That test is bull. I read the 5th harry potter in like 5 hours.

its cause that stuff is boring :)

if i read at 600 i could get 90% comprehension rate, but i got 80 at 800 :)

Lol Big Fatty, my speed is 299 and I read HP in like 60 pages per hour so 14-15 hours..I&#39;m guessing you missed out some important stuff in the book? Anyways im on my 3rd time reading it (lol). Or wait, I think it&#39;s the fourth time..blah&#33;&#33;

Ive read them quite a few times too, although i usually just randomly start reading from the middle or something because i read the book so much

Randy, i havnt read that book for like 2 years. So i bet i was a better reader a t the time. I dont usallly read now, so i guess my reading skills have gone to shit. =(

Just took a reading test in my English class, but it was a pretty low-profile test and was more than likely farily inaccurate. Got something in the mid 400&#39;s.

Yay, so I&#39;m not the only one to do that ^.^ I find I&#39;ve read my pratchett books so many times, I can just pick up, open at a random page and start reading. Normally takes me 2 or 3 reads of a book before I can do that. Then again, there&#39;s some books that no matter how many times you&#39;ve read, you have to start at the beginning.
