i like it ..but there seems to be too much black on the right of it makes it look empty
I actually prefer the right side, the edges look smoother. good colours, funky render, But the only thing is, in the centre there's a brush / image that looks a little out of focus or 'rough'
nice i like black sigs :D and your style new :D
I love it, but the text has a line underneath which cuts off the render. I would fix that. Let the render be behind the text.

Exactly man. I personally hate open space
RAb :(
I think the empty space works with that sig. Usually you dont want it, but the left side of it with sonic draws so much attention, I dont think you really need anything on the left side besides the text he has and the bg.
Looks nice. It is dark, but the black works for the sig as does the empty space.
It's a style that's been going around. In this case, black, unbrushed areas can be good.Quote:

i like it alot - i think the black space on the right is perfect
just one thing i dont really like - the scan lines on knuckles face and body. i would either take em out or make em lighter on his body
overall great work!
I do like the main layout of sorts, however, if it's a gun that Shadow is holding I would either resize him so that it is more-visible, or prop it over the edge and out of the frame (transparent gif) so that its more dominant. I agree to the comment of the text covering the render though, I would have blurred the edge of black at the very least, and not made the cut off so abrupt.
Otherwise, your concept, general organization and use of null space is excellent, and your shy border makes the scene appear to be free instead of confined to a confining frame. B)
its perty cool, a little to dark for me, but it almost works because of how you did it, if that made ANY sense, good job mate.
Actually that isn't part of the bg, I made that using another layer and matching the colors I had used on the bg, and then used radial gradient, then I made the layer's opacity lower.Quote:

Here's what it looks like without it. And lower opacity on the scan lines.

I can't make the gun come off for I don't have that render anymore for the render site that I got it off of is shutdown.
Thanks guys for the the replies!
