I don't like the peach-colored flares, but otherwise the overall effect is great! Try adjusting the hue...

I think the peach coloring was for the smoke effect. If he made it like the fire, then where WOULD the smoke be?

Ohh...i misinterpreted it then, i though it was like an overhead view of something like a bomb hitting the ground. My bad..Oops..i just noticed it was stars or something in the background. I take back my critique, its great :)
