New Cellphone, For my b-day

Yeap, finally got my cell phone (after many trial and error). Its has camera/video capabilties, no speaker phone (one downside), and many more features. Heres the link =)

Im very pleased with it so far, and I got it for free (service and phone) for my birthday which is monday.

It looks awesome. For some reason, I like LG phones better than others.

Had lots of problems with LG. Not a big fan. Got one of their crappy phones now.

Looks pretty nice. I need a new phone mines old and the screen doesnt work anymore so i can only use it as an alarm clock lol.

I concur. The phone as well as the phone company has a lot to do with the type of reception you get. I got no reception when i had my LG phone. I have a Motorola and a Panasonic now. The Motorola is fantastic everywhere - any basement, anything and the Panasonic is decent, while it is an older phone.

But if that's the one you wanted, I'm glad you got it :D

I have had an LG for about a year and it hasnt caused me any problems(except when i dropped it in a glass of water...) I tried motorola and it was OK, but sometimes the signal would weaken for no reason. never tried panasonic. anyway, glad you got your phone.

Yeap, im very happy with my phone. I get decent reception. About 2-4 bars. With verizon, thats pretty good. Also the internal reception says i have 5 bars. lol.

I'm with Rogers, nice phones, but not too good reception. Probably because I'm in lecture theatres underground.

Flip phones are the best... i hate sliders, they are poor quality.

Yea those phones are loaded with more than you need and end up looking clumsy and ugly.

I have a Samsung Camera Phone with Verizon. Always good reception, nice phone too. Got it for like 99 bills.

my phone loses reception only in college...which is when i need it :( but its kinda not suprising when 700 people try to use a phone at once

not a fan of the lg's sorry , my mate has one and it pinches me and shit when im talking, also the video quality has a really poor framerate.

ive got a motorola a920 (cant afford the a1000) and ive got it rigged to think its a p series se so it can run anything they do... good old uiq

:) i thought about getting a mobile.... and then i realised why waste my money on something which i'd use only on weekends... and most of the features i get on a mobile i wouldn't use, and getting a cheap mobile would just be embarrasing... i'd rather not have one as i hate them anyway :P

I use my phone more for text messaging than calling hahaha, I need to expand my plan.

MotoRazrs are pretty nice, I would've got one if not for the Camera quality because I'm snap-happy. So I went with v635 instead.

Bleh the Razr to me is over rated...Along with verizon in general...I was on V, Cingular, and NEXTEL...V was the worst...Cingular was middle and NEXTEL was the best. Im sticking with nextel and yeah, i did get the blue 250$ phone...I love it!

..The only way you'd get me on a phone is if it had full internet access ... which with these new service plans i will probably get one :)
