haha, doesnt bother me.
some people will like some wont, would have been better if he used proper grammar to conclude his sentence but still a good attempt. i was going to make it a wallpaper but the start bar blocked most of everything and it looked like a big white wallpaper. i may touch up some things though and make it a wallpaper.

second of all, its not all that simple.
what i did was take a fairly large stock make it black and white, color the tree, start a new project and make sky white, and add in tree. vector a shadow, and then vector the rest of the background, make the ground with some filters ect.

I love the way it goes from nothing to alot of detail, but still in a small, non-overpowering way. The tree looks somewhat short though. Veryy nice , well done =)
Great simplicity! The ground and the tree looks just great, however I'm not too fond of the black. It looks somehow out of place, try to fix that in some way.
At first i was like WTF is this? then i was like "oooooo i like that".
