Yea, I saw it before. I wonder how much money they are actually getting from donations.
my family and I,
my mom
me
my sister
my 2 dogs
all gave together 500$ to the American Red Cross
That's very thoughtful dude. I'm glad that people are donating to this cause, because they really need some money to rebuild over there.
Thats nice mate! I dont know if I personally have that much, but I plan on donations $10-$25 - nothing near 500, but I bet it helps somehow, eh?Quote:

Japan gave $500 million to them. Before that I could have swore that the Japanese government were the stingiest government in the world. Good job brotha's!!!
I myself haven't/won't donate, cause I never donate anything...
DONT SEND ANYMORE MONEY... it said in the paper that they have plenty of money... now many places wont accept donations anymore because of that...
USA gave near 1bill i think... it might have been something eles...
so if you want to, you can... but im not
I donated 5 bucks, I hope it will go towards the fund. I havnt heard anything telling people to stop donating.
Anything helps I guess.
i swear i read it in a magizine and my local news paper... its odd
I really do understand the pain and suffering that is being felt. I just don't understand how people who don't have tons of money to give are being asked. There are movie stars, multi-millionares, mulit-billionares, businesses, amd governments that have put up so much money. Keep in mind the fact that these are countries where they have hardly, if ever!, seen a few dollar bills. These are countries where one dollar is about 200% or more than their currency. So, the total amount of aid that has been received is almost astronimically, in relation. That money is either not going towards what they say, or somebody's fooling somebody here.
That is the only thing that ticks me off. When the is a continent now dying as we speak from AIDS, but no one thought to mention that, because it happens to be Africans. What will be done about THAT when there are no more black Africans? That's real, in 2042 they predict AIDS will kill them off. Donate your money there! They aren't getting shit!
Did you know that Iraq had billinos put into it by the americans in about a month. And they only donate one billion to the tsunami releif? I can't beleive that..... And i don't think the money and aid has started arriving yet.. there's been nothing on the news etc...
did u know that the U.S. spends an average of 40 millions a week in iraq........ yup, that's how much good ol' dubya loves the iraquis....
I don't see the point of donating money.. why don't we give them things for free insteaD? because all of this money isn't all goign to go towards the tsunami .. it'll be left afterwards, and god knows what that'll be spent on
Good idea crofty, give them stuff instead of money!
I'm sure it will be used to help improve life around the tsunami areas, or transfer the money to other campaigns around the world (Africa, etc). It wont go to waste.
I seriousy want to donate...but I don't trust any of those "Non-Profit" Organizations...I mean if one of those victims had a paypal acct I'd send him some $$$ but my PP acct is locked...
Our school had a bottle drive for it.. We got alot of money with that.
Great that the countries are helping the places that the tsunami hit. It shows that there is peace in some countries :) .
Me and my family also gave about $500!
P.S. I saw that Google thing.
I live in Indonesia (as you can see below my avatar) in a small town called Malang. It's more than 1000km away from the province of Aceh where the episentrum was.
I'm glad to see that some of you donated your money for the victims and thank you very much, God bless you all and this forum :).
I've donated some clothes not money because my country ranked 4 in the list of the most corrupt country in the world :( . a lot of whitecollar criminals here ........
oh i saw it !!my family has donated 200 EUROS
Me and my folks have donated about 100 euros
