I always love the first snow of the year. This really gives the feel of winter beginning. It's a great shot..Keep up the good work. :)

Yeah the first snow here was last night, and we already have 3-4 inches. Nice shot, keep it up.

thanks :) - yea we only got about 1/2 inch here - it all melted by like noon - i had to get up early, like at 8 a.m. to get this shot :lol:

I like it, the effect of winter is nice. As for the border, try a white line to compliment the snow =D

(ha ha! my first snow was in OCTOBER! :P it snowed on thanksgiving too)

but now theres tons of snow :P

yea we got alittle more snow here - nothign more than an inch - it all melted

i wish it could snow here too... manchester should be getting colder and within a few years it should be like REAL snow up here... where it doesn't melt by the afternoon... so that means when i'm in uni i can have snowball fights.. yay for student clothes and snowdays! :lol:

Nice pic. I wish it would snow down south, i live in a town called wokingham in berkshire and we only get snow in january, february.

but the contrast is poor.
the logs look a bit too washed out and I think they would look better dark.

hey waller...i dunno man, im just not feeling it. i think its the angle..but idk. The colors are nice though. As for contrasting/lighting, it is a bit too bright. Try making it B&W...see how that goes. Idk why but I'm not feelin this one as much.

i like i like very much ...!!!! and the first snow is deff the best of the year... after that it just gets annoyoing and you run around with a blow tourch trying to melt all of it cuz you snapped lol

haha yea yea - rite now we still have alot of snow - like 6 in about - its too cold!
